New Leaf This Summer!

i may be making a new youtube channel this summer.

i feel like i can make better videos then.

because i'll have a job,

therefore i'd have things to buy,

therefore i'd have things to talk about.

and a reason to primp!

in high school,

i didn't necessarily admire the popular kids.

they were who i wanted to grow up as.

Can't Live Without Art

i need to have art in my life.

i'm SERIOUSLY thinking about incorporating an art minor

into my university schedule.

i honestly don't think it'll be a waste.

i feel really lost without an art class of some sort

in my life.

i admire photography so much.

i wanna be inspired again.

get back into my groove of things.

Itching to Create

i've been so busy with school recently.

so i haven't been able to practice many techniques

with my prismacolor colored pencils.

i realized in a drawing or two,

that i press WAAAY too hard with my prismacolors!

i need new paper, new techniques!

and i'm getting all of my tips and ideas from

prismacolor's website, of course!

Photography Techniques Website

i was trying to figure out how to take grainy photos,

i was inspired by the

Zebra Skin Flickr

and his raw photos.

they seem better with the grainy look!

so i've been toying with my digital camera.

i found a website that's very informative!

it's teaching me a lot and its working on my digital camera,

so that's where i'm going!

Art Zen

it seems like

in order to create art.

you always have to be motivated.

have some stem for inspiration.

you need a wondering mind,

and room to explore it

and its outskirts.

keep your blood pumping for it.

and your fingertips tingling

as they yearn to create.

THIS SUMMER, I WILL:

1. (out of all the piercings i want) GET MY PHILTRUM/MEDUSA PIERCING!!!
2. GET MY YARN BRAIDS!!!
3. STRETCH MY EARS AT LEAST 2 OR 3 SIZES!!!
4. EXPAND MY WARDROBE WETHER IT BE DYI OR SHOPPING!!!
5. MORE BODY JEWELRY!!!

** i'm yelling this because maybe if i'm more assertive toward myself, i'll actually get it done.

Update: Me

i decided to do a little update on myself,

since i haven't really posted on this blog in the longest!

• i've stretched my ears up to an 8G, and plan to go to 0G or until i'm aesthetically pleased
• i plan to start one last blog about a persona
• i'm probably gonna stick to this art blog as a basis, and add DIYs and updates about myself throughout, sometimes!
• i've expanded my taste in music even further (shall share in a blogging list w/you guys someday!)
• also expanded fashion sense.....now i just need money! (will post when I do DIYs, found PLENTY of blogs and youtube videos about that!)

that's all i can think of for now.

i've gotta go and do some work now...

i didn't deactivate my facebook for no reason!

(P.S. you should try it, it's SOO liberating!

gives you SO much more time to deal with homework,

so you can have deserved free time!)

Ear Piercing Project

since i'm stretching my ears,

i've come to a satisfying conclusion

on my ear piercing arrangements!

• gonna get my left ear's secondary pierced (to match my right ear's and so i can have standard earrings fit, too)
• get my right rook pierced
• possibly my right tragus, but that's the least of my worries!

then i'll have 4 in each ear!
